Lady Glamour

I really never have a reason to dress up this much...sometimes I wish (well, most of the time) that I had lived in an earlier era where evening glamour was a must. I was going for a 1930's feel, but almost felt like it turned out a little Downton Abby-eske. What do you think?

Dressing Table

My husband is a doll! He bought me a new camera for Christmas... I still have a lot to learn about aperture and shutter speed, but here are a few shots from my experimenting this afternoon. This is my antique dressing table that has been handed down all the way from my great-grandmother. The mirror is my mom's from the 1950s.

Merry Christmas everyone!  I'm off to a Christmas Eve dinner wearing my Christmas coat that I made from a 1940s pattern... it's becoming a Christmas fashion tradition of mine:) Hope your Christmas is merry and bright!

Little French Girl

Sometimes I just don't feel like putting much effort into my hair but I still want it to look cute! A quick and easy style I love is throwing my hair into a beret(I crocheted this one myself!) and tightly curling my bangs. It really only takes 5 minutes!
